Zombies catch a lot of crap for the whole brain-sucking, flesh-eating thing. However, if anyone can turn an image around, it’s AMC. With Mad Men, they got everyone on-board with how cool the mind-numbing, soul-sucking a-holes of the advertising world could be. Maybe they’ll be able to do the same for zombies with Walking Dead, which premieres on Halloween.
People need to understand that there are more to zombies than their penchant for gnawing away your face in order to get to your brains. They are were people too! I mean how much more fun would Disney be if you went with a zombie? You wouldn’t have to wait in lines. Or deal with annoying kids. It’d just be you, your zombie, and Space Mountain. Sweet.
